A member of the

ChromaColour International currently manufactures just under 100 vibrant Underglaze Colours for the Ceramics Industry, including Speckles, which can be fired at the cone 06-05 range. These Underglazes offer colour consistency, easy application, and are lead free, non-toxic, functional and ASTM certified. ChromaColour Underglazes can be found in homes, professional studios, retail contemporary studios, schools and colleges.

We also offer a wide range of products for the studio owner, independent artist, potter, and schools. Check out the menu tabs on the left.

This is our second year for our studio promotion and is sponsored by ChromaColour International Limited. This is an opportunity for Independently Owned “Paint Your Own Ceramic Studios” to participate in a Canada wide promotion to select Canada’s favourite ceramic piece.

Studios choosing to participate will be asked to host a competition at their studio to select “studio winners”. The length and timing of each independent studio’s competition is up to the individual studio but the "ceramic painting" and the selection of the “studio winner” must be completed by February 28, 2010.

High resolution photos of the winning pieces selected by each competing studio will then be sent to ChromaColour International Limited in Calgary, Alberta by March 2, 2010. ChromaColour will complete a collage of the winning pieces from all competing studios and will post on its website on or before March 4. The public will be encouraged to visit the posting on www.chromacolour.com at any time up to midnight March 14, to select their favourite piece. On March 15 at 12 noon, the winner will be published on the ChromaColour website.

The studio that provides the winning piece will win a $500.00 prize including $250.00 in Eco Coat Underglaze and $250.00 in Bisque.

The winning contestant will receive a cheque in the amount of $50.00 from ChromaColour.
