professional results. Chromacolour Animation Paper is available in two basis
weights; 18 lb. and 23 lb

Surface Tooth
Just the right amount of tooth to bring out the best in a pencil line,
whether using hard or soft grade.
Resistance to Multiple Erasures
Achieve perfect erasures without smudging. Erasing on the same spot more
than once will not damage the paper surface, and the replacement line will
look exactly the same as the rest of the drawing.
Archival Quality
Our papers have a life expectancy of 150 to 200 years, to preserve the
life of your artwork.
Range of Sizes
Both papers are available in 12 Field (10.5” x 12.5”) and 16 Field
(13.5” x 17”) sizes as well as double and triple-panning sizes. Custom sizes
are available upon request. ACME registration punching is also provided.
Consistent Grain Formation
For optimum translucency, up to eight layers.
Even, Bright Whiteness
Provides maximum contrast. Excellent for line work and computer
scanning.
Ultra Smooth Surface
For exceptional control of line work. The consistency of the smoothness
between the top (smooth) side and bottom (wire) side is guaranteed to have
less than 10 percent variance.
100% Softwood & Hardwood Pulp
Enhances the paper’s exceptional tensile strength, crispness
and surface qualities. Facilitates clean erasing, easy page flipping and
scanner feeds.

Prograde
A lightweight (18 lb.) paper, extraordinarily effective as a "rough
animation" paper for pencil tests. Maintains translucency for up to
eight layers when using a bottom light source and up to five layers when
using a top light source. Prograde has received excellent reviews for
helping animators produce clean line tests.

What makes
Chromacolour Animation Paper "archival quality"?
Chromacolour
Prograde and Prograde Plus paper is buffered with microscopic
particles of calcium carbonate. This ensures a long life expectancy
by neutralizing the inherent acid content of the paper, and
absorbing and neutralizing the acid from the surrounding air and
environment, rather than allowing the paper fibers to absorb it. To
further ensure optimum archival qualities, our paper is sulfur free,
chlorine free, and lignin-free. |

heavier weight (23 lb.) paper specifically formulated for use with
today's advanced scanning technology. It remains translucent for up to
five layers when using a bottom light source, yet has sufficient opacity
to prevent "dirt imaging" when scanning. The heavier weight helps
prevent paper feeding errors when scanning. Sturdy enough to withstand
extreme handling conditions, particularly when manipulating punched
paper on and off of pegbars. |

| Chromacolour Hollywood Studio Paper 23lb |

A (23 lb.) weight paper specifically formulated in a CREAM COLOUR (helps reduce eyestrain and glare) and used by many of Hollywood’s major studios including Pixar, Disney and The Simpsons. This paper is translucent up to five layers when using a bottom light source and has sufficient opacity to prevent "dirt imaging" when scanning. This paper will withstand extreme handling conditions. This is a superior drawing paper at a competitive price.
