All 80 colours in the range are lightfast. On a scale of 1-10 with 1 being totally permanent and 10 having no light fast qualities whatsoever, all colours are rated at 1 or 2. They are available in 50 ml or 1.7 oz, 250 ml and 500 ml bottles, and are made only in Canada. If it doesn’t say “Made in Canada” on the bottle label it’s not the real thing!

On the colour chart, the smaller block of colour to the right of the main colour gives an indication of how the main colour looks when diluted or mixed with white. Please note that the colours depicted are limited by the medium (the web) and should be used for guidance only! There will be variations due to monitor type.

LINDA WAIN

Linda Wain is a much sought after Wildlife Artist who now enjoys an International reputation.Linda Wain

Being born in Derby she has always loved Derbyshire and now lives in Belper with her husband Kevin and Minty and Amber her two Barn Owls.

Originally she started her working career at Royal Crown Derby where she stayed for 11 years painting mainly birds, figurines and jewellery. After a break of several years Linda started, in 1989, to paint professionally for herself and has enjoyed the very rapid growth in popularity of her work.

She now works from her studio at home and holds many exhibitions throughout the year often accompanied by her own Barn Owl "Minty" who is a subject of several paintings. Linda has always had a strong love of nature, animals and birds and in choosing them as her main subject to paint was very easy in that it is a natural extension of this love.

To recreate parts of nature for people to enjoy and look at in their own homes gives Linda a great pleasure. Indeed many of her happiest times are when she is sat painting. Other times are whilst out obtaining material for her paintings. Imagine the great pleasure and privilege at being able to see and handle all sorts of birds and animals.

Just sitting in an enclosure with Arctic foxes playing around you or being able to hand feed lemur monkeys or maybe nursing a Racoon as well as flying a Barn Owl or even just sitting painting with one next to you. Linda's work now hangs in many private collections around the world and she is well respected for her accurately detailed nature paintings of all kinds of British and Foreign wildlife, both mammals and birds as well as flowers. She also paints pets and horses and is happy to receive commissions on any nature subject.

Some of Linda's pictures are now available as limited edition prints and several have been made into a range of Designer greetings cards.
