Brushes
Our finely crafted brushes are specifically designed to meet the needs of the professional animator. These brushes are manufactured in England, home to the most skilled brush-making craftsmen in the world. Our brushes are available in four styles, and offer top quality in every price range. All brushes feature seasoned hardwood handles which are well-balanced and comfortable to use. Brush hairs are held in place with a non-corrosive, nickel-plated seamless metal ferrule. Hairs are placed into the ferrules and not reshaped or trimmed, for outstanding quality and natural shape.
	Series 1A Kolinsky Brushes - Cathedral Tip (Round) (equivalent to Winsor & Newton Series 7) Brushes are made with pure Kolinsky sable hair,  the finest material available for brush making. The long "cathedral" tip shape is an exceptional  design particularly suited to cel painting. Conventional brushes stroke the paint, but for cel painting the brush is used to move or push the  paint over the surface. Cathedral-tipped brushes  are designed to retain their spring and point, even when fully loaded with paint.
