ChromaColour Original Bisque Paint - Non-fired Colours

ChromaColour is well known as a leader in the marketplace and with that in mind we have introduced the Original Bisque Paint. For those children who do not wish to wait for a ceramic piece to be fired, we have an option for them. Use ChromaColour Original Bisque Paint and you can take the ceramic piece home the same day it is painted – no firing required.

This paint is available in 30 ChromaColour manufactured Standard, Metallic and Glitter colours. This water-based acrylic gives total opaque coverage. It has a semi-gloss finish and these paints should be used for decorative pieces only as the finished piece will not be food safe. This product is non-toxic and conforms to ASTM D-4236.

All colours can be mixed to create your own colour tone, including the metallics and glitter paints. These paints can also be used with stencilling, sponges or simply as decorative painting.

ChromaColour Original Bisque Paint is fast drying and dries to touch in about 5 minutes. For those who wish a high gloss finish, use ChromaColour Bisque Varnish, also water-based and non-toxic.

These paints are permanent and caution should be used as paint cannot be removed from clothing.

Directions for use:

Do not wet bisque, or damp sponge. Light dust only with a dry cloth or feather duster.
Apply one coat of paint. One coat will suffice, however if a second coat is desired, wait a minimum of 5 minutes to allow the first coat to dry.
If a high gloss finish is required, brush on one coat of ChromaColour Bisque Varnish and let dry up to 10 minutes before taking home.
Allow piece to cure for 24 hours at home for best results.
To clean your piece, use a dust cloth or feather duster.
